Op vrijdagavond 4 oktober 2024 organiseren we de openingsreceptie ter ere van het Utrecht Queer Culture Festival 2024 in de hal van het Utrechtse stadhuis in het centrum van de stad. Tijdens deze besloten receptie voor genodigden staan we stil bij de start van de tweede editie van ons festival. Er is een kort inhoudelijk programma o.l.v. van de Utrechtse dragqueens Amy Astoria en Victoria Vyper. Tijdens dit programma zijn er bijdragen van Jasper Albinus (spokenword), wethouder Linda Voortman en openen we de expositie van Queer-U-Stories in het stadhuis. De tweede Dirkje Kuik lezing wordt gegeven door Tweede Kamerlid Ines Kostić.
Hoogt on Tour and Leather Social Utrecht are organizing a screening of the documentary about the gay fetish festival, Darklands. Prior to the screening, Leather Social Utrecht will host a panel discussion titled "Fetish Talks”. The panel discussion will take place at the same location as the documentary screening. After the documentary, you are invited to join Leather Social Utrecht for social drinks. These events are part of the Utrecht Queer Culture Festival.
