Queer Craft Circle

The Queer Craft Circle is back from summer break on the 5th of October at de Kargadoor from 13:30 till 16:00. Come craft with us! We look forward to seeing you and getting in the mood for fall with hot drinks, cozy vibes, and chats about our autumn crafting plans! 🍂🎃🍁🍄

The Queer Craft Circle is a space for queers where we come together to craft, share skills and meet up with like-minded folks. When we’re talking about craft, we mean textile crafts like knitting, embroidery, crocheting and other crafts that involve yarn, needle and thread.

We hope to create a safe(r) space where everyone identifying as queer can feel free to be themselves and be attentive to the differences we might have. We want to create a joyful gathering where you can be inspired by fellow queer crafters. We can share tips, patterns and more! There is already an existing group chat. If you want to join, let us know (send a DM or email) 🙂

The event is free, you can bring your own materials and work-in-progress (and snacks!). Feel free to join later on or leave at any moment during the meet-up!

* De Kargadoor is at Oudegracht 36. Accessibility: The front door and bathroom in the grand hall are both wheelchair accessible (the bathroom being accessible via a ramp). We don’t play any (background) music during the event, to consider sound sensitive folk (but sometimes there is some noise from other events at de Kargadoor).
