Een tentoonstelling over queer handwerk door de Queer Needlework Circle. 14 queer handwerkers tonen hun handwerk en in de bijbehorende teksten vertellen ze over hoe hun queer identiteit in relatie staat tot handwerk. Bij de tentoonstelling kan je komen handwerken en op 5 oktober is er een openingsworkshop.
Wil jij sensuele teksten schrijven om aan je geliefde te geven, voor te dragen of voor jezelf te houden? Wil je je fantasieën verkennen? Of juist een sexy ontmoeting in woorden vangen? Wil jij schrijven omdat je jouw ervaring niet terugziet in seksverhalen? Op een laagdrempelige manier zullen we middels opdrachten creatief schrijven verkennen. Zo zullen we onderzoeken hoe je je zintuigen op het papier gaan leven, zonder je handen te hoeven branden aan platte seks. We gaan experimenteren, creëren en inspiratie opdoen bij korte verhalen.
Come sing with us! Young LGBTQIA+ choir DynamiQ Voices is giving an interactive performances on Monday 7th of October in the evening. You can discover and take part in our warm-up routine and exercises, and get a taste of what it feels like to sing in a choir. And of course you will get to hear our repertoire! If you don’t feel comfortable participating, feel free to just sit back and watch.
The Feminist Killjoy Workshop at UQCF is part of a Workshop series of the Feminist Killjoy Project, designed by choreographer Lux Sauer (he/him) and dramaturg Vera Bonder (they/them), in collaboration with COC Midden-Nederland. In the 3 hour workshop we invite genderqueer individuals to explore and embody the principles outlined in Sara Ahmed's The Feminist Killjoy Handbook. Through a blend of somatic body work, movement exploration, and creative assignments, participants will engage in a transformative journey towards self-awareness and community building. Gain an understanding of what it means to be a Feminist Killjoy and how this concept can be a tool for personal and collective empowerment. Use movement as a form of expression and a means to explore personal and collective narratives. Build connections with peers through shared artistic activities.
Kom meespelen en ervaren hoe bevrijdend improvisatie kan zijn, zeker in een ruimte voor queers. Op het theater bepaal je zelf wie je bent en hoe je beweegt, dus veel ruimte om te experimenteren! Of gewoon om plezier te maken met mede-queers :) Niveau: Ervaring is niet nodig, enkel nieuwsgierigheid. Kom ook vooral als je het spannend vindt, we zullen het stapsgewijs opbouwen.
