DESCRIPTION:Broken Self invites us to explore the ways we perform and experience gender. Inspired by Judith Butler and Plato’s Androgyne, two performers use movement, gesture, dance, and outrageous expression to question how bodies are shaped by societal norms. Mixing clowning, drag, and playful exaggeration, they turn rigidity into humour and resistance, pushing embodiment to its extremes.
